The bass are on the move...
We found them running down shad in the backs of creeks and were throwing soinnerbaits and swim jigs to temp them to bite.
Bass fishing in PA is dedicated to reporting on fishing locations and tips for all Anglers interested in finding where the fish are. Small mouth and Large mouth bass will be the main subject.

Beltzville Lake Large Mouth Bass are crankbait smashers when the bite is on.
If your looking for a clear water lake this is it. Structure is hard to find but there are some nice fallen trees in the upper arms of the lake. If you fish the lake fish early top to mid water then when the sun is high in the sky go for the bottom bite. These bass are well feed to say the least and do a lot of schooling since the structure is not that abundant. Senkos work well and pumpkin and green seem to do well for me. In the early hours you can also do well with flukes of any color right up against the bank. See ya on the water.

Off Season - Waht do ya do?
So I spent a feew hours cleaning my rods and reels and doing some respooling of line this weeked. I had left my tackle box in my boat for about 3 weeks without relizing it and well the mositer got to all my cranks and minnows. I had to wipe each one down in WD40 and then wire brush the hooks. After I sprayed them with silicom and a bit of fishing lure sent they were good to go for another season....Lesson here...take all your stuff out of the boat!
